Chatbox auto-login feauture

Hello,

Chatbox became inactive for the reason much people are used to forums like IPB and vbulletin and there is no need to press a button to login... you are logged there automatically.
I think this should be added to forumotion too.

It is a little buggy, even when I log out from the forum at all it keep me logged in the chat :S
Is there a way to fix that?

Did you log out of the chat before logging off the forum?

I'm not an expert in coding so I honestly couldn't tell you I'd probably recommend making a post in reply to that thread above seeking help.

Are you talking about the "Time in minutes before a member is considered "Offline" :"?
It should kick you out of the online list if you press the log out button even if the time in a minutes was NaN (unlimited).

This suggestion will not be appraised; the sole reason for this is, the chatbox causes strain on the servers now as it is, and if you were automatically logged in, and had no intent to use it you would be causing too much unwarranted strain on the servers.
The devs are aware of the s of the servers and are actively working on reducing them, but they can't help it, because of the sheer numbers of forums our servers host.
