Completed Banner Request Please.

Post by Derri January 18th 2014, 4:18 pm

Creation Type: Banner
Size (In Pixels): It can be any size as long as it fits between my navigation bar and my forum board. Here is a screenshot to get what I mean. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Primary Colors: I was thinking anywhere between light blue and dark blue. As you'll see on my forum I do use a mixture of blue.
Secondary Colors: I don't have one in mind but if you think adding another colour would look good then I'm all for it.
Images to include: No images.
Text to Insert: The Forumotion Network
Font (Provide Download Link): No particular font but something smooth or wavy would be a bonus.
Font Color: Like I said my primary colour would be anything from a light blue to dark blue.
Link to My Forumotion Forum: networkfm.net
Username on Your Forum: Derri
Link to your Last Graphics Request: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Proof of Forum ownership screen shot: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Detail description for your graphics request: Like I said I'd like a banner that'll fit in the red box that I specified above in a screenshot. As you'll see I have a current banner in that area as an example.

I'd also prefer the banner to be anywhere from a light blue to dark blue. I don't have any preference on a secondary colour but if you think adding green to text or whatever would look good then feel free to.

I'd also like the banner to be transparent if possible.

Thank you

I think it's perhaps a little too big and plus I'd really need it to have a transparent background due to my background. Its really good and I do like it but I think the size might be too big.

Hey DustyBones, I really like the first one, could you possibly change Network and Forumotion around so it read 'The Forumotion Network"

It would be really helpful thanks Very Happy

Hi,

I'm sure this will be complete Leah but currently I'm having to wait as I can't edit my templates right now due to issues with template editing. So I can't test them out properly. I mean you've all provided excellent banner but I'm just waiting to test them to see what really fits before saying this is complete.

Derri,
I noticed that your old banner was actually a lot larger and must of been scaled down through your CSS or template editing. Hense, the banner I made is also being scaled down and is now a lot smaller.

If you decide to use the one I made, I could make it the same size as your old banner (which I downloaded and saved) so that it looks bigger after being scaled down by your coding.

Hope I haven't confused you..

It's inside the templates, it's HTML. Look for this:
Code:
<center><img src="http://i57.servimg.com/u/f57/14/98/80/18/networ12.png" width="500" height="100"> </center>

And either erase the width and height part, but I suggest to add the actually height and width of the image that Dusty has provided for you. So in other words, the code must look like this:
Code:
<img src="http://i57.servimg.com/u/f57/14/98/80/18/networ12.png" width="976" height="113">

Yeah I am both aware of this from Yesterday.

I need to remove the original coding so the banner will remain the same size. My original Banner was too big that's why it was added. The thing is I would have done this yesterday but there is a bug with my browser which is causing issues editing my templates.

I'll have to either disable my javascript temporarily or download a browser to use temporarily. I'll post when I've installed the new banner.
