Affiliate button problems

Did a search to see if there was anything on here on adding a button but nothing is on here for my problem..I am still having problems adding an affiliate button to my site..I would like it on the left had side where the affiliate widget is and the forumotion button is..

my site is broomhildassims2.my-freeforum.com

You just want to add a new button, correct ?

You can modify the affiliate widget here : Administration Panel > Modules > Forum widgets management

Edit the affiliate module. You can create a simple button with a little bit of HTML :

Replace http://example.com by the URL of your affiliates website

Replace http://mymage.gif by the URL of your affiliates button image

Other forums also provide their button code, so all you need to do is paste it in the widget with zero editing, except for the widget.

That didn't work...why can't people just make it simple and just give everyone the coding without it having to be modified   
This is what I have for their coding this is the coding as it is in notebook..what do I do with this...

I don't know what I did but it is working now I took the button off of here I figured that wasn't allowed..

It isn't the same way as you have me do it..so I don't know what I did..

Also, is the button provided as bbcode ? If so it should be automatically converted to HTML.

I didn't do it your way sorry all I did was copy and past and it is working now but I have been doing that coping and pasting all day so many different ways..still don't know what I did different..

Opps sorry I do have one more question what is that Legend and how do you change things on that..
