Solved Background post change for staff members

Post by Garland on October 10th 2014, 3:01 pm

I remember there was a "guide" on how to change the background(with an image) of the users' posts.

let me make an example to make it more clear =s

I want to change the background of usergroups.
usergroup#1 got 4 members all those 4 members when they make posts on forum the background will be different

well more or less the same thing as its in here the staff members got that.

anyways I remember I saw this somewhere but I cant find it now

Please change the title of your topic to something that is related to your question/issue, so that other users will be able to find their question/issue using the search engine.

Try this

Administration Panel -> Modules -> Javascript codes management -> Create a new script

Title : what you wish
Placement : in all the pages
Code:
$(function(){$('.st-rank').closest('.post').addClass('st-answer')});

Then wrap around your administration rank title:
Code:
<span class="st-rank"><b><font color="#CC255D">Administrator</font></b></span>

Then CSS :
Display -> Pictures and colors -> Colors -> CSS stylesheet
Code:
.post.online.st-answer {
background: url("http://illiweb.com/bl/spirale.png") repeat-y scroll left top, url("http://illiweb.com/fa/prosilver/icon_user_online_en.png") no-repeat scroll right top #E5F1F9;
}
.post.st-answer {
background: url("http://illiweb.com/bl/spirale.png") repeat-y scroll left top #E5F1F9;
}

Yes but you need to use this CSS code

You can add background image if you want.
Code:
.post.st-answer {
    background-color: #fff5f5 !important;
    border: 1px solid #eed3d7 !important;
}

You can triplicate the script

Example:
Code:

$(function(){$('.st-rank').closest('.post').addClass('admin')});
$(function(){$('.st-rank').closest('.post').addClass('mod')});
$(function(){$('.st-rank').closest('.post').addClass('gfx')});

And the CSS:

Example:
Code:

.post.online.admin {
background: url("http://illiweb.com/bl/spirale.png") repeat-y scroll left top, url("http://illiweb.com/fa/prosilver/icon_user_online_en.png") no-repeat scroll right top #E5F1F9;
}
.post.admin {
background: url("http://illiweb.com/bl/spirale.png") repeat-y scroll left top #E5F1F9;
}

.post.online.mod {
background: url("http://illiweb.com/bl/spirale.png") repeat-y scroll left top, url("http://illiweb.com/fa/prosilver/icon_user_online_en.png") no-repeat scroll right top #E5F1F9;
}
.post.mod {
background: url("http://illiweb.com/bl/spirale.png") repeat-y scroll left top #E5F1F9;
}

.post.online.gfx {
background: url("http://illiweb.com/bl/spirale.png") repeat-y scroll left top, url("http://illiweb.com/fa/prosilver/icon_user_online_en.png") no-repeat scroll right top #E5F1F9;
}
.post.gfx {
background: url("http://illiweb.com/bl/spirale.png") repeat-y scroll left top #E5F1F9;
}

For each members you give rank change the class.

Ex:
.admin
.mod
.gfx

Like this for each members
Code:
<span class="admin"><b><font color="#CC255D">Administrator</font></b></span>
<span class="mod"><b><font color="#CC255D">Moderators</font></b></span>
<span class="gfx"><b><font color="#CC255D">Graphic Designers</font></b></span>
