hello
you can use this code
Code:
ul.navlinks span.new-message{-moz-transform:rotate(-4deg);-ms-transform:rotate(-4deg);-o-transform:rotate(-4deg);-webkit-transform:rotate(-4deg);background:url(http://illiweb.com/fa/email.gif) no-repeat scroll right top transparent;color:#FC0;padding-right:2em;transform:rotate(-4deg)}

Go to Admin Panel >> Display >> Pictures & Colors >> Colors >> CSS Stylesheet

Good luck :rose:

Is your forum version phpBB 2 or 3?

Hello Michael_vx,

You're using phpbb2, correct ? As far as I know, the new message doesn't have a class like phpbb3. You can of course add one with JavaScript.

Go to Administration Panel > Modules > JavaScript codes management > Create a new script

Title : New message class
Placement : In all the pages
Paste the code below and submit :
Code:
$(function() {
  var pm = document.getElementById('i_icon_mini_new_message');
  if (pm) pm.parentNode.className += ' new-message';
});

Then you can style it with CSS :
Display > Colors > CSS stylesheet
Code:
.new-message {
  color:#F85 !important;
  font-weight:bold;
}

If some properties don't take effect, try adding !important and it should override their default values.
