Problems using desktop view (classic) on an iPad

Hi guys,

I recently had help to insert a line of code which forces the classic view on anyone Visiting the forum from a mobile device.

Now, when a user tries to post a new topic, it brings up the subject line and message box and let's you fill them, but when you press "send" to release the message nothing happens and the message is not submitted.

This is occurring with an iPad on using safari.

Any help?

I have got to the bottom of this myself.

I was testing posts by merely putting "Hi" in the subject line not realising that it has to be higher than 10 characters. The error message telling me this was not appearing on the iPad but did appear when I tried to replicate the issue on my PC.

Just out of curiosity, can this limit be changed?

One thing I will say is that on the iPad the administration panel is not accessible....Known issue?
