Solved Name of Image on Hover

Post by Rachel Deacon on July 29th 2015, 6:39 pm

Hello,

I use profile fields to put awards on my members' profiles, but I'd like to know whether there's a way to have the name of the award come up in a hover text box or something?

If not, is there another way to put the awards on so that the same effect can be achieved?

Thank you,
Deacon.

If you use the text & image option in the profile field then the name will appear when you hover over the image.

Thank you for the answer, but that put the text next to the award image rather than as a hover.

Are you using an image list?

If you use an image list, the icon + text option will work.

Hello,

Sorry this has taken a while to get back to you. I've been wrangling with this on my own.

Perhaps I can explain what I'm trying to do more clearly now:

What I'm trying to achieve isn't to have the text displayed at all times next to the award, but as a little box that pops up when you hover the cursor over the image, similar to a title attribute in HTML.

I've figured it out by using a custom BB code. Thanks for trying!
