Convert drop-down-menu to tabs for 'View more Emoticons'

Hello, another unusual question I think..

Is it possible to make tabs for the different smiley categories, in phpbb3 for http://faqts.do-talk.com , instead of a drop-down-menu ?
Have looked hither and beyond on the forum but found not one topic about it...

So basicly something like this:

Gentle nudge to keep it from deletion 

Do we maybe need mister Ange Tuteur for this one? I do not know if I can and/or are allowed to tag him in here

You can tag certain staff if you desire their help.

This is probably going to contain js and css, and html being inserted into the document via js.

I would help but I don't know how to access certain documents via JavaScript

Thanks. Yh I know it most likely needs all of that goody Javascript stuff, and I also do not know how to write it myself...
I think it could benefit more users too.

As I have a wide layout for my smiley box it is just logical to have it as tabs.
