Forumline border radius problem and how to make shadows at the bottom/left from boxes

Description of problem

Hello Support Forum,

I have already searched but I didn't find anything. :o

First I want to explain my problem regarding a CSS Code.

I use following CSS Code:

.forumline {
          border-radius:10px;
          overflow:hidden;
        }

This code does corners in all areas (categorie and box corners).
It works, but unfortunalety there is a problem.
Take a look on this screenshot:



I think you can see that the corners are fade..So, can anyone help me to fix this? (At the Chatbox it is the opposite)


My second issue:

How can I get shadows at the bottom and at the left side of the categorie/boxes like here in the following screenshot?
