What is a Concept Art:

* concept art is fully based on expression and inspiration. It is a future idea, a way of thinking and style that could be used in some time. A concept is not defined and doesn't need to be practical... it is a full, all out graphics brainstorm.


So what are we supposed to do exactly:

* This is a special free for all content. since you cannot limit a concept you can do whatever you want, whether it be a signature, a card , or design ... maybe you fancy a mini wallpaper or just a scribble of an idea. in this contest you get a canvas size and you can make it anyway you want.


OK cool, so I can do anything I want ... so where do I start?:

* First , think of forumotion today, now imagine forumotion in the future... a future where vector circles are old and not fashionable. This is where your ideas come to life... what is the next vision of FM? maybe a new set of colors? maybe vector squares not circles... or maybe something completely new.


Does this by any chance have reference to our "change the banner suggestions"?:

* why yes, yes it does. I enjoy concept art ... and have brought a few ideas to life... now I want to see your ideas... you new forumotion styles.


Wow so this means Forumotion is changing its look?:

* NO , its just for fun.

max : 500 x 500
min: 100 x 100

style: whatever you want

type: whether it be a sig, card, banner, mini wallpaper ... or design ideas... i don't mind

comments: a concept ... a new perspective ... a new image ... a new visage.

Well at least she accomplished something

Well, I wouldn't say accomplish...Since it'll take 5 mins to change the wording...Basically, it's like she didn't put any effort on creating something new for it.

And it's rather insulting for me creating my own website layout for a few hours and she came in with a copy of the exact same tutorial...I guess it's just not original and absolutely..."cheating" in a way.

Tevest J... i cant get the PSD file cause i have to be a VIP member to get it.. and i re-did the whole thing... and i've done like 3 skins based on their tutorials.. i cant get all the resources that i need so i have to re-create them and edit them... Think before you say something Tevest J.

Alright then you didn't get the PSD file, you still didn't use your imagination to create something original.

What you have done is completely insulting to what I have accomplished. I wasted hours on my layout thinking revising it to make it perfect and I just came in and see some people copying the same thing in a tutorial and told me to think before I say something?

Sorry I can't do that, I have my designer pride. If you can actually do something on your own, I won't have to say these words.

That work you have done is a complete insult toward me, I made my layout with my own brain, hands. You just go there, use half an hour or so to create something like that.

How would you feel if I did the same to you and rub it on your face?

as i said before.. i've used tutorials from there before cause i started to create skins yesterday.. and im not a creative person.. im most into signatures & avatars but i wanted to try something new and i get a nice comments like this... thats realy nice..

Of course, well just for you to know ^^ That was also my first skin making.

I only used a tutorial for that arrow thing you see there?

The rest, I just used my brain to develop some ideas as Jalokim said above.

bambiy ... no matter how you look at it the PSD tutorial and your idea is the same... and tevest ... i'm not stupid ... my techweb concept has been ripped exactly 10 times but your version is a little obvious.

the same colors, the same style ... and even effects.

Both of you are banned from the contest.
Your originality is appalling , tevest its the second time you have ripped... and to think not to long ago you were a candidate for the gfx staff.

At the moment i wouldn't deem any of these winners. Come on guys this is something you can really go to town on really show us your skills. This isn't a signature contest so i would suggest to do a nice background not avatars.
