    Solved Forum Private section Topics show in 'Recent Topics'

    We have a sub category section of our forum that is blocked from members unless your in a group.

    The problem is, when a new topic is started, or replied in, it shows in 'Recent topics'

    Is there a way we can stop the topics and replies from this private sub category thread from showing on the main forum? While still allowing the topics in the open thread to be updated?

    Sorry...tuff one.

    Hello,
    Did you see these topics in the recent topics widget while you were logged into your account?

    Well, try logging out, and you would not be able to see the topics that are in the private forum in the recent topics widget, Wink

    Well, do you see any posts in 'recent topic' widget from private staff forums Wink
    No, you don't. That means members can view only those posts in 'recent topics' to what they are allowed access.
