Theme Conversion

I have found a very nice Phpbb3 theme I would like to use. Problem is that it isn't on Hitskin. If someone could please download and convert this to a .bbtheme file I would be extremely happy.

The page seems down, but as I see the theme name, I know which theme you are talking about.

Aeroblue cannot be converted to Forumotion phpbb3 version, because it's a subsilver2-based style, not a prosilver-based one. And the phpbb3 version of Forumotion is prosilver-based.

The vanilla phpBB3 package (I'm talking about the non-forumotion one) is shipped with two styles : prosilver and subsilver2, and so, the styles you find on phpBB3styles.net are wether prosilver-based or subsilver2-based. But since the prosilver style is more valorized (right word ?), Forumotion chose this style for its phpBB3 version. So, while the prosilver-based styles might be adaptable, if the template modifications aren't too heavy. But for subsilver2-based styles, they cannot be adapted without huge modification of its appearance since you cannot modify templates on FM's phpbb3 version unless you use the credits management.

Hmm, okay.. What if I use credits would it work then?

I'm not sure at what degree you can modify them, to go from a tableless layout to a tabled layout. In my opinion, it would be easier if it's done with the phpbb2 version since you don't need credits to edit the templates of this version, and its layout already has tables.

So, if I use credits I can edit the foot and other stuff with phpbb3 is what your saying, and its free with phpbb2.. I just took most of the images and updated my theme.. New buttons, images and stuff.. Looks really good. Check it out www.cyberpunkdl.com

She means that she's not to sure what you can modify and can't, because if you do something wrong, ( why using template editing ) , you might get your forum banned because it might disobey the T.o.S.

Also, you can't buy template editing or use template editing on a phpBB3 version,

If you change your forum's version, then the option to buy it will be missing. And it's free for phpBB2 and punBB versions.

Hmm, okay that clears alot of things.. I just don't understand why we can't edit all the versions.. Punbb and Phpbb2 are ugly..

Yeah, that's the way it is unfortunately. You could try using this skin the was converted by jalokim a while back its phpbb3 and its a lot like the one you want.

Err, Thanks Beno but i'm not a fan of green.. I took some images from AeroBlue and put them on.. Check it out. (Its not finished and my header is being a baby)
