MASS PM

First topic message reminder :

I would suggest to the people who created forumotion that they create an option which will allow moderators or administrators to be able to send a Private message to all the members of the forum(eve those who are not a part of a group). I know that you can send a Private Message to groups but I think it will be a very good thing if you could create such an option that you can send PM's to everybody who is registered on forum. I hope that you will consider my proposition and make such an option available. Thank you for reading my suggestion.

yes, I like the idea of sending welcome pms to every new member on the forum so they will feel more welcomed and be active on the forum. Surprisingly most members will pay more attention to pms than announcements and stickies on the forum. A great idea, I guess.

Not all members select "recieve newsletter," so a PM would be a great way to do it.

There is a way to send a PM to all of the members. Just type all of their names seperated by a space. This is too much work though.

But you could just add every member into a hidden group called 'Members' however, if you have over 100 registered users it'd take a while...

But the thing is, with mass e-mails, people would not take consideration to it, just delete it, and stuff, i mean yea same as in Board, but at least u know u sent it, and Also, what if there email provider filters out Forumotion emails, and they are deleted after so many days, and the person nvr gets it? at least PM's Are never purged.

yeah i like this i hate the e-mails most people dont even use their emails they use pms...
