Problems with changing colours of theme

Hiya ive got my theme and layout just as i want it but im trying to change the colour of the header text, general text and back ground colour, at them moment they are all black. but when i pick my colour, the preview shows it as i want it but i press save and nothing happens.

i dont know if its just a fault but it wont change the colours at all, and then ive tried chaing my theme and it hasnt looked like it should and like it shows in the preview, it goes off the page and looks messy and plain but the preview shows it as it should be. so anyway im happy with the theme i now have but i cant change the colurs, which i could do before but now it wont let me!

its ok, i figured it out myself. id got carried away and confused it. after leaving it a few hours it was fine!
