Link bbcode problem

hello there,

i am running a forum for students. what we do to share files is to upload our files in a host like mediafire and then provide the other members the link.
in the past i used to use the bbcode in order to "hide" the url with a title.
Now i am doing the same but bbcode takes no effect. These happens only with mediafire.
Why this happens? Am i doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.

So it shows the url not the title that i put.

do you know why this happens?? i have bbcode enabled

Looks like some bug, i will report it to the techs.

yeah im having exactly the same problem and so are other people, this is very annoying indeed

Nopes, i got some information regarding this.

It seems links from mediafire, rapidshare & megaupload have this problem. Its been done on purpose, because most of the illegal content is hosted on such sites.

i understand why these happens but i do not have illegal files uploaded, just pdf and doc files.
is there any solution?
what comes first into my mind is to put the title first and then the url but it is not so nice.
something like this i mean
