Can "hide online status" be disabled?

Hi, just wondering if there's an option to prevent users from hiding their online status?

Half my members have found this option and it makes the forum look emptier than it actually is. I know I can change the "hide online status" manually for their profile, but they can just change it back.

No, everybody can Hide their online status. It's completely out of control of the admins.

There is no way any administrator's are able to modify if a user is hidden or not.

As far as removing the option from a users profile, I'm sorry but that is not possible, even with template editing.
