Drop down Skin Changes

Well is there anyway to add an optional change of skin to members like a dropdown arrow at the bottom of the page?

Is there anyway to do this in anyone's mind? I need some answers

No, sorry. Currently, each forum can only have one theme per time, for the whole board.
You can't have one member on prosilver red and another on silver.

im not totally 100% correct, i discover one website that did actually make a skin changer, i dont know if he make it using template editing or not.

but I think all he do there is just host a couple of CSS file contain different themes, later he just call them on forum site description. Its need ha bit hard work and although i found this quiet long already but still i dont try it because im not interested.

Yeah...but to do that with CSS it'd be a pretty big code.

its not quiet hard. Just need a javascript & couple of themes.

i did manage to embed skin selection dropdown menu on index, only left is to create new themes,copy its CSS code and call it to that javascript.thats if i still intrested to continue

If you intrested enough we can talk via PM, its not posible to explain all step here because it quite long and complicated.This gonna require a lot of coding & designing

but first you need to make 3 different themes for changing themes purpose.Dont forget to copy CSS code for all themes you make.

Also i dont think this changer skin can completely change your themes, its just change forum banner, forum background picture/color, table bar,font color etc.I dont think it can change skin between phpbb version too.

If still anyone interested with this idea you should follow this step :

1.Create at least 1 or more additional themes for your forum. Lets say dark & Bright themes.
2. Now copy CSS code for that additional & current themes paste it on notebook separately. save it with extension of .css file type. let say If you make 2 additional themes, you should got 3 copy of your CSS. For example : Default.css, Darkthemes.css & Lighthemes.css
3. that's all for now, cant publish it all because it will be waste if nobody interested with it.

As i say before you need 3 different themes first, later you need to host that CSS file on external host provider. I suggest you use this one : http://www.badwaresite.www/

After host it & got url for that CSS file, you have to put it on script for change skin ( As i send to you on PM). Look closely to find part when you need to put css url there.

After finished, you need saved it with .js extension and host it. get your JS file Url and paste it on your forum by using this code :
