Posts missing

Hi, I'm one of three main Admins for a gaming forum. Recently, one of our threads had nearly 100 pages of posts completely disappear. As far as I can tell it wasn't done by any of our mods or admins because I watch them all and checked our Security Panel to see if there was any activity in the forum mentioned. The last official Mod activity took place two days before the incident. The only pattern that was exhibited is that it was all the posts up to page 100 that were deleted. What I want to know is if this is an issue with the system or if a darkbb mod came in without notification and removed all those pages. There was a lot of Photoshop artwork for our members there and some of it can now not be recovered.

Maybe it was pruned...I don't know the limit of pages a thread can have, but there is a thread someone on here...*goes to search*

check your basket and see if they where pruned like kingofsports has mentioned.

Other then that if you exceeded the limits of a thread then it will just go on and continue in a new thread... but all previous post should still be there.

so it sounds like they where pruned.. so check out your basket and see if they are there first.

You're right, I found it at the back of the forum. It just auto-split. Thanks guys.
