Help Please urgent. Panic

Ok so i set up my forum and purchased this url www.coupe-club.net. This is a car forum for the owners of the megane coupe. It was created as the old site i used and loved closed down which was www.coupe-club.co.uk and merged into another forum. Then off the owner of coupe-club.co.uk i get this email tonight:

i think we need to have a word regarding your new club...i own several copy rights for cc and your breaking most of them. i may not own that domain, but the content is exactly the same.

i dont want this to get messy so please can you reply asap to arrange a meeting regarding this matter. The coupe club was valued at just over £12,000 the last time it was up. Any links to the club, mention of the club, links, content or photos etc will also be against copyright laws.

Now my forum is non profit making and just a site for enthusiasts. And theres nothing in it that was directly copied other than a few works and sub forums but thats surley not copy right. Any thoughts on this matter would be greatly apprechiated.

Unless the material itself is copyrighted (e.g pictures) there's no copyright.
I mean, you could make a sub forum exactly the same as the other site, even by coincidence. Last time I checked, you can't copyright names of subforums or anything.

Apparently the part *coupe-club* is copy righted? So any refrence to it is wrong?
