I am an admin for a forum and for 80% of the active members, their PMs are... "broken". I went to the page that showed the list of users who had PMs disabled and their name wasn't there. The PM system is enabled, what's wrong?

hmm, maybe they have reached the maximum of PM's if there is that, tell them to delete the old PM's

I just did that. Didn't work.

What error message they get?

I messaged Lamp, a fellow admin, but it didn't work. I even asked him to clear his inbox and I did too.

Hello,

The error that is received "This or those user(s) do not wish to receive private messages : Lamp" was received because the user has chosen to close their PM box via their profile.

I do however have a question, your an admin, PM'ing a fellow Admin, would this be correct?
If so, then there's a technical error because an admin is supposed to be able to PM any member, mod, or co-admin, even if they have decided to close their PM box.

I was using a test account that had normal permissions.

So, your test account had no moderating abilities, and was not able to PM the Admin?

If this is correct,then there is no problem, as your co-admin has decided to close him/her PM box

I told him to do what Gangstar15 did, but it still didn't work.

So has your co-admin allowed or disallowed PM's via his profile?
Has he also allowed PM's via the Admin panel?
