Not to be disrespectful... but this is the place for posts such as this. Ive read the rules 500 times from the day I signed up when this place was still EditBoard, and even the new rules do not disalow topics on things like this. The users should be aware of this forum's actions.

Everyone else will be arguing and sending PM's and such. ForuMotion isn't the place to solve your problems concerning spam attacks with/against other forums.

Also I notice that Ego-One isn't run by ForuMotion anymore, so this thread shouldn't be here anyway.

If you feel the need that FBF should receive punishment, use the litigation tool.

Anyone who would waste time spamming some website obviously does not have a life. Attention all spammers: go get a girlfriend. I think this thread should of been sent to an administrator instead of being made publicly.
If ForuMotion had the feature of being able to delete all posts made by one user, then the spam issues with ForuMotion forums would be at a minimum- meaning that it would be a billion times easier to delete spam instead of just deleting spam posts one by one by one by one.

People, say I buy a clothing from a retailer, No fixed price. I need the clothing so i bought it we agreed for a price . just for the price, now agreements wouldn't go beyond that. If in case that retailer sees me wearing the clothing and tells me to promote his store, it depends on me if i want to do it or not. IF i do not want to, and the retailer insists, shouldn't I ask for something in return too?

it's the Internet you will get spam regardless of forums or not.Look at all the spam we get here on the support forum.That's why you have to have good staff to help run what ever site you may have to remove such content and ban who ever is spamming.
But it can be a never ending thing. it's all part of the game of running forums so welcome to the club.and i am not trying to sound sarcastic.. but it's almost impossible to prevent others from spamming.. and even if it is spam and a person is saying it's from another forum,site,etc...it dose not prove anything.

Meaning if i go around and spam some site with all things to do with dell computers you can not hold dell responsible for the spam.. the same way if someone goes around and spreads hate spam on someones forum and says it form another forum.. it dont mean nothing.. how do you know it's just not someone fabricating something to make another forum look bad to have them shut down.. so when it comes to spam it's almost impossible to do anything about it.. all you can do is remove the content and ban who ever is doing it.


if someone has a problem with a forum that is hosted on forumotion then you have to take it up with forumotion litigation's.
honestly to me this thread just seems like a way to take a cheap shot at someone else forum that has been successful in the past to try to bring trouble to them and have them be issued a warnings or possible shut down.

So that being said.. report it to litigation and allow them to evaluate the situation and make any decision on what actions to take if any.
Any more arguments,flaming or disagreements being posted in this thread before it is locked by a global moderator will be given warnings and or banishment from the support forum.

This is not where you complain about such things as this. all complaints and reports must be done through forumotion litigation and litigation's only.
