impossible it's a variable it just counts all the posts on your forum but you can delete it in punBB and phpBB2

yes you can add a specific number but it won't count up then

i only know for PhpBB2 or punBB

look for
Code:
{TOTAL_POSTS}
in index_body
and change into a number
