Facebook Invite Link

Hi,

Please can someone help me with this problem. I am the Administrator of the forum and the problem that i am getting is that I have linked up Facebook Invite under my profile to my Facebook page. But all i get under Firefoc and IE8 is a loading screen and that is it. The address of my forum is http://nineelms.freeforum.me.uk

Please can someone point me in the direction to what is wrong as it isn't bringing up any friends from my Facebook profile page.

Are you talking about Facebook invite in the admin panel?

No sorry - I'm talking about the Facebook Invite section within the Forum itself where you're Profile setup is. You have various Tabs such as Preferences; Signature, Friends & Foes.

so what is coming up blank? the page with your profile settings in it or the facebook page when the link is clicked.

If it is facebook blank pages it could be something due to all the changes they are doing again, so i would just try back latter.

then if it's not your facebook page/link your haveing problems with please try to explain a little more.

This would be on Facebook side. Facebook does a lot of updates on their codes so we just need to wait.

When the link is clicked I get a sort of loading screen as though it is trying to find my Facebook Friends... (Its 3 bars that come and go from Left to right. I hope this explains things okay?

yeah i just seen on the news facebook is supposed to be doing another big change/updates.

dunno why they just did this not to long ago but something to better help your privacy mostly

As of today - I am still not getting a list of Friends Popup when I click on the Facebook Invite. Still scrolling 3 bars as if it is trying to load up.

can you give a screen shot? i do not know what you mean by three bars?
And you are saying it's just the facebook link to your page in your profile right.

Have you got any idea what the problem may be?

Had this problem on my test forum and it was solved by waiting a couple of days.

I have waited and tried every day since I did this - It has been about 3 days now. It's as if it is trying to load???

I understand that but there isn't much we can do about Facebook as we don't have much control over it.

Now getting this problem when going to the Facebook Invite link. The Facebook Invite button is not showing and IE is stating 'Done, but with errors on the page'

IE is just bad browser. Try using FireFox.

Firefox is doing exactly the same.

Okay I have just done the Facebook Invite under my user Profile tab on here (Forumotion) and it works fine. But this still isn't loading my friends list on my Forum. Which suggests to me is an issue (ScriptSettings) problem with my Forum?

I hope someone can point me in the right direction?

That is a like page not a app. You need to go into the delelopment page on facebook and go to your app. Click on view app details and you will see it.
