Size of Post area Empty Size of Post area

Hi guys,
Just a quick question, I've been looking through the interface and searched this forum, but how to I change the size of the posts area. (As in the box in which my text is now being read.)
Is there a way to change is so it remains the same size, or does the window define the area of the "post box"
I hope that makes sense.
Please let me know if there is a solution to this.
