Problem with another forum...

Our friend made skin for our forum,http://hogvorts.forumsr.com...Skin is here..http://sr.hitskin.com/search-a-skin/hogvortstk-skin-167097.htm?sid=d2073556351f6527edb96bf4e71ffd45.Now,one guy,registered to our forum took that skin for his own,on similar forum.Address:http://hogwarts.4forum.biz/forum.So what to do now?!Please help us!

I would just get in contact with him, and sort it out between the both of you first. Then go into further actions.

You put the skin on hitskin, you have given up rights to the skin... he's allowed to use it...

If he didn't put it on hitskin, but you just used it. He wasn't aloud to use. But since it's on hitskin it is.

Hi,

Ill re-illiterate, and do some furthermore.

If you uploaded your skin to hitskin.com -> You give up all rights, including
any and all copyrights. You also, allow any ForuMotion ( ForumActif ) forum to use that skin without your explicit permission, at any granted time.

This is because forumotion supplies us, the users hitskin.com as our way to have our own skins on our forums, as we cannot use true phpbb themes because of our SITU coding style.

If your did NOT put your skin on hitskin (which, in this case, I believe you did put it there) you have 2 options:
1) remove the skin; PM Typlo (who is away for a few more days) requesting him to remove the skin.
Please have your hitskin username, and the URL to the theme included in the PM.
2) Make a complaint to our litigation team ( https://www.forumotion.com/en/litigation/ ), and in this case, as you put your theme onto hitskin.com, you evoked your copyright, which means, they most likely wont follow it up Wink
