Text box text colour Empty Text box text colour

I have an issue with the similarity of colours between text and text box backgrounds. I know it going to be a simple solution, but at the moment it is escaping me.

At which point in the CSS in the colour option do I change the text or background colours?
At the moment, every input box is light grey and all text and cursors are an almost identical colour.

HELP PLEASE
