Enable smilies?

Whenever I click on a smiley symbol in my forum (for example ), it only shows up as the code for the similey and not the actual smiley when I post it. I think I may have disabled smileys somewhere, but I don't remember where, or if I even disabled it (my memory is deceptive). Can anyone help?

Hi,

check your profile > preferences > Enable smilies: = Yes.
Check ur posts (edit one, or make one) and hit the "options" box, and ensure the box "Enable Smilies" is ticked, if it isn't tick it & save.
Then head to: Admin panel >> General > messages & Configuration > Configuration > Enable smilies = Yes & save.

It should then display smilies as smilies
