Need to locate a member by location. Urgent!

When the last updates were made, the capability of sorting/searching our members by location was taken out of the ACP and Memberlist. Now I urgently need to locate a member by her/his location and don't find any way to do this.

As our forum has many members in the US and internationally, this was a very useful tool for us. Is there are way to include it back in the Admin options or anywhere else?

You can add a field on your registration form where they will fill their location/where they live on that field when they try to register, although, that's not ensured because some guests might not really say where they live.

Make your 'Location' field (on Admin Panel > Users & Groups > profiles > Find 'Location') make it 'necessary field so that the field would be included on your registration page.

Thanks Joph. The Location field is already marked as "Necessarily filled" in my ACP but anyway I cannot perform a search of my members by location, neither from "Search Users" nor from "Memberlist" sorting. Is there a way I can do this that I'm not finding?

That's not currently possible because we don't have that field on the 'sort by' area... Sorry.

OK. Thanks and I hope this feature is restored when new updates are done. Currently there are sorting fields that are really unnecessary but "Location" will really come in handy to have again.

We can't do anything about it since Forumotion doesn't handle cases of some persons who get copyrighted images, they only deal cases with forums breaking the TOS etc.
