PM Notification

Is there a way to make the "Messages" button blink when new messages are available?

Right now the only thing it does it change from "Messages" to "New messages" so it's hard to miss if you're not paying attention.

I am using : phpBB2 and the "Cold Fusion" skin by hitskin if that helps...

Hello Lookitdisguy,

You are able to create an animation for the button so that it can be seen easier. To do that, you can either create your own one or simply request one in our graphic section.

Once you have a button, simply go to:

1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. Display Tab
3. Pics management - simple mode (on the left, under Pictures and Colors)
4. Change it there

yeah there are lots of images you could add for that,custom or just something you find on the web somewhere.
I usually add a animated new icon for messages,

here are some to choose from, the smaller ones are better but you can use big to if you wanted to.

Just right click on the image and save,then upload and add where base has said.
