How to add function? I dont know what its called..

I am trying to add two functions to my forum. They are both present on this forum. They both show just above the forum threads. one is new posts ect. and the other is a navigation tree with links. How do I add theses please?






In the second image the pointer is pointed at the area I am speaking of. Thank you for any help.

plus how do you add the lock posts for new reports button? can that be added for just moderaters? That would rock! LOL! Thanks for any help.

Hi,

1) The new post icon is just an image I believe but am not 100% sure, Ill let someone confirm that.
2) That's a built in feature, if you havent got it, we can add it, whats your forum version - we can add it through Templates

3) The lock post button....I've never personally played with it myself, never seen a point lol.
I don't think we can do that though?

Darren, you are correct. The new post icon is just an image. It's actually an animation and its link is here: https://2img.net/i/fa/fdf_en3/new.gif

The lock post from reports feature prevents posts from being reported by members. If you feel that a member is trustworthy, then you can lock his / her posts from being reported. I believe that only moderators are able to lock posts from reports in the forum.

In links. I find it easy to navigate back this way. Is that an option to add in template?

those are in the same space on the main page. I find im not explaining this well. I dont know what these would be called though. there at the top of both pictures and in hotlink form.

Thank you Base! Too bad I was hoping to be able to let a moderator lock posts. I would love to give a lock only option without authority to delete. But it seems thats not possible.
