Waiting 3 Months

Hello Forumotion, I've bought a domain name on March 29th, recently i purchased another host for a good sum of money so that i can transfer my domain name onto there and have FULL access to my website to allow me to have alot of features. With all going well, just waiting on a trasnfer code, i got a message saying i need to wait 3 months after a domain purchase. Why is this? I really need to get this transfer code now, as if i don't i will be wasting a LARGE some of money on my other host. Look, I already paid for a year with forumotion, i supposed that they would be fine with dropping me and transfering me. I would really appreciate if i can get this transfer code. If an Admin can direct Typlo to this thread , it would be greatly appreciated as it would save me a lot of money. Thank you for your time.

You really don't need to create another topic as you have one open.

You don't just PM him once and call it. He gets a lot of PM's about problems and some get lost. You should really keep sending him PM's every 24 to 48 hours. I'll try to get his attention, but that doesn't mean he will do it right away.

I've already got a PM back from him saying i have to wait for 3 months. I posted here because i just purchased a new host and i cannot get a refund, it would be a HUGE waste of money. Im just trying to bypass the 3 month requirement. It would be greatly appreciated.

You must wait three month. He's not going to do it if you haven't meet the requirements.

What are these requirements for? Like i said, can we make an exception? I paid a good sum amount of money for my other host and i dont want it to go to waste.

If he said you must wait. You must wait. There is a reason behind it. If he did it for you then he will need to do it for everyone.

So I just wasted a tonne of money on a host i wont use... There is NO way to get around this? Even throwing a little money in it ? I really really need this transfer code.

There isn't. Domains are required to be on a host for at least 90 days.

Would it be possible for me to cancel the domain i have on forumotion and simply buy a new one with the same name on the other host? Cause its not about the money with the domain, its about having it with another host.

You can do that, but you will need to wait around 45 days or so to be able to get it again.
