Can you change flashing ads to words ads?

My forum is for people who are ill....

I have no problem with the site having appropriate adverts, but it would help my members if they did not move. I have been on some other forums and they have static word ads which would be much better for my members.

How can I change to these?

i think before you can make the flash ads you need to remove it first.

Yes - but we are a free site - plus I am not against them - some are migraine related and new products could help.

I would just like them to stop moving.
