Code for the NEWS Widget?

Hello all, I need more than 1 news Widget, but there is only a limit of 1. Is there a way I can either:

a. Change the template or CSS to allow me to use more than 1 NEWS widget
b. Copy the NEWS widget code and create my own "news" widget
c. Have the 1 NEWS widget reference more than 1 forum

Any kind of help with this would be greatly appreciated.

It doesn't have to be the news widget. I just need a way to show threads from different forums in the widgets section. I'll take any help I can get.

I just added the "Most active topics" and the "News" widget. You can choose a different category to display on your "News" widget once a week. You can also display the "Latest Topics".
