AdF.ly With Forumotion

Just sign up for an account on their website and shorten your links to share it

ForuMotion uses it on all their forums ( not your forum, but their own since they own all FM forums ) , why shouldn't you?

well forumotion only redirect popular file host links to ad,fly.
Like rapidshare megaupload etc..

So other then large/popular file hosting links no other links redirect to ad fly.
So i guess you can use it.. But i will tell you what, probably not a good idea.
To may people find this to be very annoying and will not stick at a place with all the links being redirected to things like ad fly first. I mean i cant stand it, plus you never know what kinds of corrupt ad's are going to pop-up on a ad,fly page or stuff like cash links etc... it's much of the content on pages such as these actually place tracking cookies,ad-ware and other junk your computer is better off not having in there.. even with good virus protection things will still get in. So i cant stress the point enough for people to try to avoid pages like ad,fly, link bucks, lixin or whatever that garbage cash link thing is... LOL

But it's your decision whether you want to do it or not, just keep in mind any of the file host that forumotion have marked to redirect to there's will still continue to do so.

Hmm...interesting.

Well it's not a good thing. It would mean your forum was shut down for violating TOS.
But as long as you follow all TOS and maintain your forum you would be fine.

As far as how to sign up to adfly??
I guess you would have to go to the home page of adfly and create a account.
I dont know how it works to be honest but they have to have something in place to keep track of your links and how many times they are clicked so you can get paid?

And there are no rules saying you cant use cash links of your own, just make sure whatever the links are leading to follow all TOS, Because even if something that's in violation and is not necessarily on your forum, if you have links leading to content, It would still be a violation. So yeah just make sure your links are not leading to any illegal downloads,porn or anything else that would be inappropriate or a violation.

can I avoid this adf link redirection?

Once again it only redirects links of popular file host.
Of course forumotion cant add all file host, there are zillions of them, they are only adding the more popular ones like rapidshare ,megaupload etc. You will know if it's one when you post the link.

It's not redirecting regular links, only a hand full of popular file hosting links.

you have to go to adfly and create a account with them and find out how it works, all it is going to be is you change your links to redirect to adfly, so when they are clicked adfly will know and keep track of it in order for you to get paid.

This is silly man,lol I have already said more then once you are going to have to go to adfly, get an account and read there how it all works. it has nothing to do with forumotion or any other site you may have the links posted on.
