Post by stickygreen October 4th 2011, 3:10 am

    Hi Guys,

As title says, would like to switch founder to another admin member on our forum. And making the current founder into an admin.

Can anyone please supply the procedures we need to go through to achieve this.

    Thanks

I dont quite understand though, my query doesnt fall into the categorys in that list as the founder doesnt want to leave nor is he absent, he just wants to pass the controls over to myself

You could simply change accounts and change the access details after it. Name, mail etc.

Switching accounts, though, would mean that posts would also be exchanged.

I think the best idea would be to have a separate founder's account that's used only for founder-related doings; it would be easy enough to supply the founder's account's password to the new founder, and that way people would still retain their usernames and post data.
