Do you like the new update of forumotion?

You can fine them via ACP.

ACP=>Modules Tab=>Blogs

It's so cool,if you transfer a forum into a blog,it will appear like this:

The official announcement of the Blog update has not been released yet as they are still in the beta testing stage at this point.

As I was hoping staff to start a topic of this when it was officially ready to be disclosed. * Pokes you * I will leave this topic open as the Only Topic of this update.

But I am very pleased, and I think members will enjoy this new feature here. I can't wait to test it out on my forum now.

I tested it already. Very nice! Cool! I would just add 2 things:
1. Add a blog rating option
2. Add a print icon

simple but usefull

I do like this feature myself! I knew something was coming, so I just kept looking around until the blog was just there! Talk about express delivery.

I like it its kind of differnet then what I was think it was going to turn out buts its all good. Only problem is that the blog is a bit to big in size and over runs the text into each other but I'm sure its going to be worked out. Last thing it was a nice update after the problem with the servers, so you got to give credits to the techs for this.

I had seen this this morning. How do I test a blog out? Is it for new 'things' only or for transferring one of your existing threads/forums to a blog. If you do can you change it back easily?

actually you can convert one of your forums very easily.

go to your admin panel-> general-> forums and categories

select the forum you wish to test and hit the edit button.

then the first drop down will give you 2 options:
forum
blog

just change the forum to blog and ta da... its a blog... if you don't like it go back and set it from blog to forum...
its that easy

I don't want to mess anything up. Can it definately be changed back without any problem?

i thought I'd have to move all the posts to a new blog... but its as simple as changing the forum type to blog...

I've been getting lazy these days.

It's nice that finally we can have a blog, but I hope that the final version will look different than the current one.
I think that blogs and forums should be separated. For now, they look the same. Blogs should be placed in the navigation bar as on other sites .. and not as part of the Forum. The number of blog shoud be separated from the number of posts...Same for comments.

My English is terrible so I hope you will understand what I wanted to say

Well no.

I want a blog. But I don't like how it looks currently. And what I wrote is just a suggestion. Because it can be done much better. Currently it's not nothing more than a forum with a few changes in the appearance
