Radio or Music

I want to play music on my forum. I put the media player, but i dont know how to put make it play songs... Can someone help me...
Or can i put some radio on ... ?

Lots of tweaks... When you get the code, simply either put it in your site description, or in a block on your portal.

Theres room for 250 charecters, that's enough for one code (as in, the whole given code).
You can also use diffrent radio stations, which are in your country, or closer to you... Simply "google" the station, and the station's web site should have a "play live" or something similar, somthing which will connect your computer to the station... Once you got there, copy the URL given in the address bar, and paste it instead of the url code:

what is a portal? is it better to put it there or the site description and where do I find the site description at?

Find the Site description in "General / Configuration" in your Admin Panel. Generally, if you have something you want to appear on all pages of your forum, use the site description. If you put in your portal, it will be only there.

thank you. I am just trying to find a simple code to put there that will play a little bit of everything. since there will be a wide range of people with different taste on the board. do you know where I could find that. I don't know how to get things changed into codes

From what I have found so far, and someone can correct me if I am wrong, that the only way to get more than one or two songs to play, is to put a radio on. And you would have to find a station that has a nice mix. That is what I plan to do.

how do you put a radio station on and where would I get a code for that? I am sorry to be such a pain in the butt.

Also, do a search on radio. Or music. Or both and you will come up with a lot of threads dealing with this. There have been many people who have posted many different codes to accomplish this.

I saw that after I posted it. Instead of editing post I went right off to try it....lol. I think my brain is fried from looking/working on the board for 2 days straight. I have been bounced around from post to post so I forget it was in the top of this post. I went to the site of the station put the link in the site description box and it is not working????

Ok lets see if I am doing this right because I can not get it to work. I copied the code above and where it says url of live station I put the link in its place. Then I copied the full link and pasted it in site description and saved. Then I refreshed my page and it wont work. Also when I have gone back to the site description it is not showing all of what I pasted into it??????
