Request advice re "Forum on Holiday"
Hiya,
Please could anyone post me a screen shot of the message that would appear on my Forum if I use the facility "Forum on Holiday". (I've searched the Support Forum for anything about this, but doesn't seem to be anything). Don't really want to "test" it on my Forum just to see what is the message - would prefer to know first. Also any other advice or suggestions about using this "holiday" facility would be most welcome - has anyone used it yet?
I really could do with a week closure for a big sort out.
Grateful for any advice.
Thanks
Cas

Hi,
Holiday mode blocks new users to register, but there's no particular message displayed.

Thanks for your reply Typlo,
So does that mean that the Forums will still be displayed as usual, members able to log in and post as usual. Just that "no new members" is the only change? If so, I might be better putting it on "under maintenance" for a few days? But have noticed previously when I've done this, that it automatically puts itself back online after a day. Is that correct? sorry to bombard you with these questions, but important for me at the moment.

Yes maintenance mode will only be activated for 24 hours, but you can repeat the process as much as you wish every day
