HTML boxes above forums

It would be realy awesome if each forum could have a "Homepage Message" equivilant..

To describe the forum / post announcements/messages/description of the forum etc.

(EG~ if there is an empty forum, to put something in it, but not a post...)

Sort of a perma link on all forum pages. I think this would be great especilly for those using phpbb3 since they wont be able to do css editing.

im not quite understanding this.. isnt this basically what the homepage message thing is in the homepage config area? besides it only shows on the main forum page.. and is already html

yes good idea that way we can give every section a different logo and add oher stuff as well good thinking and it should be an easy mod as well

But you should be able to add information to the top of all forums

So you want to be able to have a homepage equivlant on on pages not just the index?

I agree with the idea, but this can be done with the template editing.

I vote yes regardless as I believe that the message should appear on all pages.

I like this Idea If it generates a seperate html header block for each forum produced. For instance, I run a music forum and make a forum called "Alternative rock". If I'm able to create something(Like a rock banner) to add to that forum header, that would be a great mod! I vote yes.
