    Solved [ONLY TOPIC] Image Auto-Resize not working?

    Post by Stampers January 6th 2012, 7:46 pm

    First topic message reminder :

    Made an only topic

    A couple of my forum users have posted that the image resizing isn't working.
    We have a thread of people posting their favourite images from the web using the [img] tags.

    The forum is configured to automatically resize these images to 700x525 (under Admin>General>Messages and Emails>Configuration>Images resize). It was working fine up until a couple of hours ago and now all of the images are appearing at full size. I have removed the the very small amount of JS on the forum and it makes no difference. I have also tried it in IE8, Firefox and Chrome and it's all the same.

    I know there was an issue with this back in December... https://help.forumotion.com/t101765-images-resizer-not-working
    ...But this was solved, right? Is anyone else having this issue currently?

    Yes, it has been fixed. It is recommended, as suggested in this topic, to clear the cache & cookies of your browser.

    The issue has to go back to the techs to have it re-examined, which means the staff have to resend the report. Sorry TT

    George,
    The Devs have already deployed the patch a long time ago.
    They need to know the issue is still occurring, and I'm not sure f anyone has reported it, as Godfather hasn't replied in here yet.
    We'll need to hear from Leeloo about the issue, she should be able to get a definitive answer for you.

    You have a temporary solution. Put this code in CSS:

    PunBB or PHPBB3:

    Code:
        div.postbody img {
                    max-width: 300px;
                    max-height: 150px;
                    }

    PHPBB2 or InVision:

    Code:
                .postbody img {
                    max-width: 300px;
                    max-height: 150px;
                    }

    You can change width and height

    Hey! Thanks, but I found out what was the problem!

    A widget was being incompatible with the re-size thing! I deleted it and now my pictures are again re-sizing automatically! :wouhou:

    The widget was the one with the codes to add a personalized buttons for vote the posts of the topics! The one related with the Reputation system! Instead change them using a widget.. I modified them with some CSS codes!

    So, thanks for your helping! My problem is right now.. SOLVED!
