My first question is what is the maxium size of memebers my forumotion given forum can hold?

Second, would it make more sense for me to ultimately create my own forum? I realize this would require a lot of work and with many users I need to invest more space and money if i want to prevent my site from always going down.

I would love to stick with forumotion for now, but I would love it if people could help give me any pointers on the basics of building my own forum. I need advice on the technical programming. I can do graphic design and come up with a layout. I'm more interested in the coding and hosting/space required knowledge.
