Is there a way I can export my database of my forum so that I can upload it into a new forum? Or am I stuck starting from scratch?

Re: Export Database
Hi, this is not possible as Forumotion does not hand out its databases.

Oh, I wasn't sure if there was an option for this somewhere in the admin panel, but oh well.

Re: Export Database
Hi-
While you can't export your database, you could always just put the forums and topics you don't want into a trash bin, delete bad members, change your theme, etc. There's nothing stopping you from completely rewriting your forum, after all.
Then again, if you wanted to, you could always export your theme [pictures, colors, etc] and upload it to a new forum and start with the same concept but an entirely new forum over there. It's up to you, really.
Hope this helps,

Well I'm moving to a different site. I tried exporting the theme, but it'll do a 30% download and gives me an error. I've tried this several times on different browsers, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Re: Export Database
Hi-
Hmm. If you'd like, make an account with administrative rights and PM me the login information, and I'll download the theme for you then send it to you via MediaFire or something similar.
Hope this helps,

Re: Export Database
Even downloading a theme will be pointless. Whilst you can store theme file on your computer, its a complete file for a forumotion theme and is not compatible on other forums.
In reality, what people don't realise is, themes are actually about a 100 files.
