Is there a way to clear the chatbox archive on forumotion forums? Is there any way to make it unviewable to anyone other than mods?

You can clear it using either '/clear' or '/cls' command.

When you enter /clear, it should delete all messages even the archived ones.

Last night someone was talking about someone else, and I'm sure I cleared the chat a few times, but this morning the member saw what was said about her and idk how.

Someone claims she saw the past chats, so maybe after I left people were talking about her and they forgot to clear
But I would think it would auto refresh overnight...

Re: Clearing the Chat Box archive?
It does not clear, without the clear command.
It has a limit of messages being stored in the archive, after which previous messages are lost.
Auto Refresh is to receive new messages.

How come when I log on after not being on for a few hours, there are no messages, and there's no clear command?
Well anyways, I guess people must have been talking about her after I left, and they never cleared the chat/

Re: Clearing the Chat Box archive?
Well, how will you see the clear command?
Maybe some chatbox moderator clears it.
