    Solved Account e-mail Verification

    Post by 99nour March 10th 2012, 7:06 am

    Uhmm, I just wanna ask 2 things that are e-mail related Smile

    1: If someone doesn't verify their e-mail, will it count as a new member?
    2: How do I turn off e-mail verification?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello, 99nour!

    1) If they have not verified their email, they will not show up as a new member. =)

    2) Administration Panel ==> Users & Groups ==> Users ==> Users Options:

    Find " New accounts activation :" and select whether they must activate it themselves, if an admin must do it, or if it does it automatically without the need of an email.

    To change the option of activation:
    ACP>>USERS OPTIONS>>New Account Activation: choose what you want.

    If you want Admin activation, to activate accounts go:

    Acp>>users options>>Inactive Users.

    Admin Activation, is when you or whoever is the Admun/Owner has to Activate the Accounts him/herself.

    Hello,

    If an option isn't there, its due to certain communities having different options.

    Some forums have different options due to being in a different community or creating your forum in another country.
