As you can see, I accidentally typed a backslash in my Homepage title. I didn't know that and I advertised my forum in Google already to get more customers. When I realised my mistake, I want to remove the backslash but it won't allow me coz when I pressed saved button it said saved but when I click on another page and then come back the title go back to the original.

Yes, it does. It says "Forum Configuration Updated Successfully". So I tried to purposely click another link and then when I clicked back it goes back to the original.
