Limited Members ?

How can i limit what new members can see, until they post i would like them only to see certain sections, is there a way of automatically doing this when they join ?

Yeah, it's possible.

First, you have to create a group (hidden or not, how you like), with auto-subscribe option => Minimum Posts : the number you want.

Then, go to Categories and forums administration and click and set the permissions you want.

Hidden groups are not seen in the legend from index, and nobody will not know that a user is in that hidden group. If the group isn't hidden, the group will be seen in the forum legend and, the members from that group will have a specific color.
We can say: hidden equals with invisible.
