What happens to my site if my domain expires?

I bought a domain through Forumotion.com by using my credits on the admin panel. However, I dont know what happens to my domain after it expires (because i cannot buy 2 years domain name)

I read some threads on BHW discussing about domain expiry, and i guess when domain expires, it will be deindexed by Google, and a domain age will be new. So I will lose all of my SEO activities.

Does Forumotion send a reminder or notice in advance before my domain expires? Can I renew it before a month or a week?

Thanks for your quick answer. So if i receive a reminder from Forumotion 60 days before its expiry, I can register my domain again, and its 1 year old right? or its a renewal and domain age will be counted from the date i renew it?

You can buy it again before 10 days (just an example) of expriating old domain. But, if you'll buy it after expirating, you'll cannot choose the same domain name.

Every renewal will be a full 1 year (12 months)

You should also receive an email about the pending expiration of the domain.
