transparent - Transparent Background picture Empty Transparent Background picture

Hello, can anybody help me I'm trying to make the Background picture (Row title), (Row category left), (Row category right) transparent, but with a colour that will still allow you to see the background picture, but also makes the text easier to read.

I don't know how, any advice will gratefully received...
