My Clans Website Was Hacked

Greetings,

A few days ago, a former member of my gaming clan somehow managed to hack our website. I have no real knowledge of how, or what happened since I was gone a few days while it happened. The actual website owner is nowhere to be found (we haven't talked to him in quite a while), and the other admins were deleted/ banned. I wanted to know what I could do about getting the website back. Let me know what additional information I can provide also. All help you could provide would be greatly appreciated! I can provide you with real names of the party responsible for the theft if needed. Thanks again.

Because you are not the owner of the forum, there is not really anything you can do. You can try to contact the owner. Or read this thread:

Thanks. Part of the issue we have is that the owner is the only admin we have left on our side from the group. Other than that, the websites co-admin (and clan co-leader) was deleted and banned. This jack*** who stole the site literally went and somehow obtained access to administrative privileges, and deleted our co-admin, then deleted several of us, and IP banned some of us. The website owner has been afk from the site for about 9 months. Unfortunately, tracking him down won't be easy, additionally, I can't really meet many of the requirements needed to get the site back since the only admin on the site now, aside from the creator, is the guy who stole the site... As it is, we don't have a problem relocating to a new page or whatever, it is the fact that we lose all of the info and items on the page (images, stories, and such).
Is there any way to revert the website back to a certain date or anything?

Try PM'ing an Admin or Jophy to work something out.

We can't really do anything if the founder is not here or there isn't any transfer of founder account to you and request for a backup, maybe perhaps, can you provide a link to the forum and let's see if our pro admin will do a back up without the request of the founder(Let's see if this will be granted as our pro admin cannot just do back ups or any without the request of the original founder).

Thank you kindly for your help everybody! I have gotten the situation sorted out. Our clan leader gave me his credentials to log on and restore the site, then I let loose the ban-hammer... unfortunately we lost every single forum on the site... but we can rebuild!
