Problem with Removing "Contact Fields" from Profiles

Hello everyone,

I'm relatively new to forummotion so I hope that I'm posting in the right place!

Haha, I was really hoping someone could help me.

I want to remove contact fields as something that members can set on their profiles, yet I don't see any "X" option to remove it in the AP.

And another question: I used to not have advertisements on my site, now they are appearing all of a sudden.

For removing advertisements,you will have to use credits:
Administration Panel > Misc. > Credit Management

For contact fields:
Administration Panel > Users & Groups > Users > Profiles
Contact Fields Tab
Press by each field.
Uncheck these boxes.
Display : [] Profile [] Messages
